Café Love

I love Cafés.

Little snacks, full-blown meals, hot coffees and indulgent milkshakes.
Old books, two-fold menus, yesterday's newspapers and Kindles.
People-watching, brunch dates, meet-ups and farewells.
Naked bulbs, hexagonal tiles, metal chairs and wooden floors.

What's not to love?

#keganjilan

Apa itu luar biasa? Bisakah kita memahaminya sepenuhnya? Ku rasa itu tidak mungkin. Engkau fikirlah sendiri.

Faham?

Bagaimanakah minggumu terbuka?
(How has your week unfolded. Unfolded is such a beautiful word)

things i want and should probably do.

find my resume.
The file was in my HDD before it crashed, and now that it has completely gone bonkers, I can't even view the files. AH WAIT! I just remembered...did I upload my resume to LinkedIn? ... Nope it's not there. T_T

budget
self-explanatory

read
After half a year (or more, possibly) I'm finally done reading the Case for Faith (by investigative journalist Lee Strobel). It took me so long to get from cover to cover that I'm considering re-reading it, just to refresh myself on the points. This is a really, really good book for you christians and non-christians out there.

find out why some people find out about great songs from playing FIFA
like this gem. UGH! Isn't FIFA a football video game? Someone tell me why they're putting songs like this in there, please. Do they play football with this slow jam?

#lanewaysg

It has been one week since the terrifyingly hot and exhausting all-day indie music festival that was Laneway 2013. We paid a visit to the Singaporean leg of the fest, which was the first stop (the rest were in NZ and Australia). The bands on the lineup were likeable (Kings of Convenience, Real Estate, Of Monsters and Men), eccentric (Gotye, Kimbra, Polica), genre-defyingly EPIC (Alt-J, Yeasayer), entertainingly talented (Bat for Lashes), unexpectedly good (Nicolas Jaar, Tame Impala) and loud (Japandroids, Cloud Nothings, Divine Fits).

Full review coming soon! I hope :)
